The University has set up a Task Force on Women and Family-friendly Policies in May 2014 to promote a working environment that is responsive to the needs of women and colleagues with family responsibilities. As a caring employer, the University should provide a supportive environment to enable our staff to work well while integrating their multiple roles. Through different workshops and surveys, the Task Force has initially identified needs for mentorship, informal network as well as nursing rooms for breastfeeding purpose. The Task Force has implemented different measures to address these needs and will continue to do that in the coming years.
